Individual Equine Gestalt Sessions with Katrina Dorow

Equine Gestaltist™

As an Equine Gestaltist™ through Touched by A Horse®, Katrina Dorow collaborates with horses to maximize the healing process.

WHY HORSES?

Recognizing that horses, with their sensitivity, presence in the moment, and inherent healing capacities, embody a connection to God's infinite wholeness and perfection. Through their intuitive bond with humans, horses assist individuals in healing past wounds, enabling them to lead more fulfilling lives in the present. As a certified Equine Gestaltist® through Touched by A Horse®, Katrina Dorow partners with Horses to apply the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method® which focuses on Flowing into Wholeness with compassion.

Group Equine Gestalt Sessions

Group Equine Gestalt

As an Equine Gestaltist™ through Touched by A Horse®, Katrina Dorow collaborates with horses to maximize the healing process.  While studying to become an Equine Gestaltist™, Katrina began to see the value and effectiveness of Gestalt in a Group. Groups are offered in Parker, Colorado

JULY 28 - SEPTEMBER 29, 2025

MONDAYS 4:30-7:30pm

Group session are pre-paid at $55 per session. (Bulk purchase at a discount of $375 for all 9 sessions)

How Group Works and What to Expect:

When you come to group, please wear your play clothes and closed-toe shoes. You will probably get a little dirty, so feel free to save your shower until after group. You may get some horse kisses on you. Be sure to dress warmly in layers.

Parking:

As you turn onto Ruby Lane, there will be an open gate to the left with stars on it. Drive through this gate up to the barn. There will be parking to the right of the road/barn in the grass and between the two barns on the left. There is room for four cars to park between the two barns.

Group generally follows this Agenda:

  • Please complete liability releases weekly prior to group.
  • Come 10-15 minutes early to use the restroom and get settled
  • Safety demo with the horse
  • 30 min check-in
  • 2 hours of Gestalt work
  • 20 min check-out

Group Agreements and Guidelines

  • To ensure everyone stays safe both physically and emotionally. The groups are governed by a set of agreements (see below), adapted from the Revolutionary Agreements by Marian Head.
  • Group is a place of deep compassion and a judgement-free zone. Come with an open heart.
  • We discourage cross-talk in the group. If someone is experiencing Gestalt, please remain present with an open heart and lips closed. Our intention is that everyone in the group gets the opportunity to express and gain personal insights.
  • Remember that we are guests at Laura Rubin's property, so please be respectful of the ranch and everything around it. Be sure your trash goes in a bin, don't move anything that's not yours or ours, and if you open a door or gate, shut it behind you. Please do not smoke on the property—the fire risk is too high.
  • Please come sober free of alcohol, plant-based medicines, and psychedelics (please continue with doctor prescribed medications). We need to work with all of your Self, and substances can get in the way.
  • If you can't make it for any reason, please let us know ahead of time, so we can adjust our preparations.
  • Please follow all guidelines and rules around the horses. Deliberately unsafe behavior around these beautiful creatures will result in your removal from the group. This is to keep you, fellow group members, and our horses safe.
  • Those who do not adhere to the agreements will be asked once to change behavior. If the behavior continues, they may be asked to leave. This is to protect our group members and community.

Group Agreements

Adapted from the Revolutionary Agreements and Melisa Pearce’s version.

  1. Honor one another
I agree to speak with respect about Manely Divine and its coaches, associates, and clients. I agree to acknowledge that everyone, including  myself, is doing the best they are capable of each moment. I agree to presume innocence rather than assign negative motives.
  2. Communicate with integrity
I agree to tell my truth and be open to the truth of others. I agree to make only agreements I am willing and able to keep.
  3. Listen deeply
I agree to listen respectfully to the communication of others and to be receptive to the meaning behind the words.
  4. Take responsibility
I agree to take responsibility for my thoughts, feelings, and actions. I own my experience, respond instead of react, and question assumptions when I am unclear.
  5. Appreciate the good
I agree to focus first on what is working, and to acknowledge, recognize, and show gratitude to others for their contributions. I agree to accept      thanks and acknowledge my own contributions by celebrating successes both large and small.
  6. Honor differences
I agree to act in cooperation and caring in my interactions with others, understanding that goals are often the same, even though methods for      achieving them may differ. I agree to respect the experiences of others.
  7. Create a safe space
I agree to foster an environment of genuine collaboration in which all people, including myself, feel empowered to express our individual and      collective potential. I model the way through the use of empowering language choice, making effective requests, and honoring my promises. I agree to keep experiences, words, and personal details shared within sessions confidential, and ask that others do the same for me. I take responsibility for keeping information safe.
  8. Resolve problems constructively
I agree to take problems, complaints, and upsets to the person or persons with whom I can resolve them at the earliest opportunity. I agree to let go of commiseration, complaint, and gossip, and I will redirect others to do the same. I agree to look within when I react.
  9. Lighten up
I agree to lighten up, have some fun, remain flexible, and adapt to changes. I view mistakes as learning opportunities rather than failures. I agree to create joy in my relationships, my work, and my life.

We are all continuously evolving. During those moments when I forget or I am not aware that I am no longer embodying these agreements, I ask that others speak that truth to me with compassion and I will do the same for them.

What is Gestalt?

What is Gestalt?

Gestalt is the art of presence, teaching individuals to integrate all aspects of themselves for greater balance. Rooted in the concept of wholeness, it empowers you to recognize, accept, and align with your true self.

Partnering with Horses

Partnering with Horses

The name Manely Divine comes from an acknowledgement that horses are sensitive, live in the present moment, and have natural healing abilities. In God’s infinite wholeness and perfection, horses have an intuitive bonding with humans that helps individuals heal their wounds of the past and live a more fulfilling life in the present.

Touched by a Horse

The Equine Gestalt Coaching Method™ certification was developed by Melisa Pearce, a core founder since 1989, of the horse human healing movement. The experiential nature of the method involves the horse as an active partner with the coach in the client’s exploratory process. The integrative approach of the equine’s interaction combined with positive coaching, somatic awareness guidance and Gestalt methodology, assists the client in examining their life and choices made with a focus on designing a positive future.
